Chapter 12

"If you won't open your eyes, then I'll have do what Adrian did to Lily on page number forty six when she was disobeying him,"

Hearing my words, Vaanya's eyes fluttered open in a flash.

I'm proud! But why am I behaving as if I'm drunk? I'm not a person who's dominant or explicitly wild, but why today?

It's all her fault. I can't help it if she'll run away from me. I'll definitely want to know what's the reason behind her peculiar attitude, and this is the last option I could opt for after trying being lenient with her for long enough.

I gently smile at her to calm her down. She looks stressed by her body language.

Of course I wasn't going to do anything with her from that book that she's been reading these days. I'm not like that. I wouldn't touch her in any way until she allows. But as I said, this was the last option.

Moreover, I despised that Adrian guy in her book because he was so dominant and ruthless on bed with his lover. Guys shouldn't be like this, and girls shouldn't appreciate this either. This is physically a torture for both genders rather than pleasure.

Pleasure comes from foreplay. Guys must learn the basics maybe, if you're unaware of how to please your girl.

"Abhi—" she tries to speak, but I shush her by bending down to her lips. I didn't want to, but I still picturised my eyes as husky in hers so she would say it herself what she wants.

I really need to hear it from her though. Afterall, we're both humans.

"Vaanu—" I exhale her name, fanning her face with my fresh mint fragrance. I bend down, closer to her neck, my thighs rubbing with hers down there. "You're telling me by yourself, or..." I exhale huskily on her neck this time.

Not gonna lie, merely pretending to do this, it's actually doing something to me that I genuinely want to avoid from happening, but would I be able to?

"Abhi it's nothing..." Her hands slowly roam on my shoulders, and her eyes close again as if enjoying my presence.

So, I reduce the distance even further that my lips are almost touching her jaw, but I stay there, not moving or kissing her.

"Try harder to lie, baby," I instinctively chuckle at my own words. I can't believe it's me calling my wife baby. I hated that word all my life, saying it's so cringe. "But you can't win me." I say, my smile widening at my own side that I've never known has existed.

This is a new Abhir that I'm meeting.

Though, something happened. Something weird. Suddenly the Vaanu who was so stiff and submissive a second ago, from somewhere she gained confidence.

And I felt that confidence hard on my chest.

Luckily she didn't punch me this time. Bro her hands are so soft, but when she punches or slaps me, damn bro, that hurts! Hurts like hell. She's a tough skeleton girlie.

I feel her hand on my right shoulder, trying to push me away from herself. I get up a bit to look in her eyes, and her expressions were challenging this time.

She's back. My wifey is back to her confident self. Thank goodness!

Ab maza ayega na bhidu.

I lay back up parallel to her vision with a playful smile on my lips, just staring at her face and blending expressions.

"Oye Agnihotri," she says is a roadster voice.

"Ji Mrs. Agnihotri?" I smile, enjoying this game.

"Tum challenge kar rahe ho mujhe patidev?" She stares suspiciously at me. I nod at her to see what will she do.

"Dekho—mai utni sudhri hui bhi nahi hu jitna tum mujhe samjhte ho, samjhe?" She challenges.

Of course I know that you're not innocent after I read what you've been reading for these many days, my lady!

That freaking unholy book—I was traumatized for almost two days after reading two of its chapters. I couldn't come to believe that this type of book actually has a space in my bedroom.

My virgin bedroom.

I see her pupils expanding in fury and competition. But why would I not participate if the competition is initiated and willingly decided by my only lovely wifey?

I'm all hers anyway. She can do whatever she wants with me. And especially—Ruin me.

I smile. "Really?" But my eyebrow lifted at her to extend this naughty game ahead before her fire dies down. "Then show me."

I say, and get up to sit straight by her legs on the couch, leaving my entire body for her to do whatever she wants. Vaanya got up hesitantly on her elbows and gave me that "are you serious" look.

"What?" I question as if it wasn't a big deal. I know, I'm just messing with her. Why would I want to break my virginity in a damn office room? Never man! That's disgusting. But I can still play with her, can't I?

"Seriously Abhi? Seriously? In the office?" She intimidatingly glares at me from my left, but I just sit there, stifling my laugh.

"Yeah, Vaanu. Why not here? It's safe, and nobody is gonna—" but before I could finish, she punched the couch in fury and got up to leave.

"Arey arey arey—" I immediately run behind her, holding her wrist before she could open the door.

"I was just messing with you—" I apologise.

"But I'm not." She reprimands sternly. Her nostrils are flaring again in anger. Oh! I love it when her nostrils flare like that and her cheeks become swollen like golgappe.

This is why I keep squeezing her cheeks all the time because whenever she's upset or angry, her cheeks fill up like balloons and I can't resist that feeling to not squeeze them tightly.

"Okay—I'm sorry wif—"

"If you're really sorry, then show me." She cuts me off with a daring attitude, pointing her sharp finger nail at the middle of my eyebrows. And then she turns around, and left.

But I know, she definitely chuckled after turning around because her shoulders moved in that manner. Damn! Am I losing my virginity tonight? Tomorrow is her birthday—am I gifting her this?

Is it a bad idea? Should I wait? But she asked me for it, how can I keep her waiting?

"Koi nahi, Abhi. Koi nahi. Teri hi biwi hai. Tera fayeda nahi uthayegi to kiska uthayegi. Vaise hi itni jaldi naraz ho jati hai ye." I sigh and chuckle at the same time at my thoughts.

On my way downstairs to catch up with Vaanya to the parking lot, I told Revanth to take care of my files and business. And business meant—Vivaan and Harsh.

I see Vaanya taking the driving seat when I was almost ten feet away from her, but I received a call on my way. I halt to check who it was, and I couldn't ignore this one because it's my friend whose number I shared with Revanth to take his help about Vivaan and Harsh.

"Hey, Abhimanyu. What's up buddy?" I say as soon as I recieved his call with a smile.

"All good brother, what's up with you?" I hear him reply.

"Great. I heard you're in Istanbul these days and congratulations for your wedding bro!" I ask as I got to know about his marriage because obviously I received the invitation, and about Istanbul, Revanth told me.

"Oh, yeah bro. Istanbul because my wife had some business meetings, so we directly came here after the wedding. But I surely remember inviting you at my wedding, and you clearly didn't make it. I'm upset now." He says with a dramatically upset tone.

Unlike a mafia that he is.

I relieve a breathy chuckle. "You know what's been happening with me, right? And then my wife, she's worried sick about me so those were her strict instructions for me to not even move an inch, let alone attend a wedding. That's why she sent you a few gifts and told me that we'll visit you guys ASAP." I explain, and he definitely understood.

"But, Abhir. What do you want me to do with those Harsh and Vivaan guys? Want me to kill them or—" he takes a pause.

"No, bro. Not yet. Just torture them till they beg me for death." I stare in Vaanya's direction who drove the car to my side, waiting for me to hop on.

My emotions were burning after hearing those two names, but for Vaanya, I couldn't even express those else she'd be worried again. And I can't see her worried. So I smile at her from the outside, motioning to give me just two minutes and she nodded.

"Okay bro, gotcha'. I'll take care of them. And let's catch up soon." He says, and I laugh, nodding at his idea.

"Hundred percent." I chuckle.

"Let our wives become friends so they'll have company to bitch about us." He says and we both laugh at his playful statement.

And then I hung up, jogging to take the passenger's seat beside Vaanya, who instantly drove off to our home.

Um, that's what I thought. That we're going home perhaps, but she's driving to an... Oyo?

Oh—no no, sorry. She took a turn beside the Oyo hotel. It almost got me a heartattack. But here we come. At some hidden restuarant which has this vintage vibe almost a kilometre ahead from that Oyo turn. We both get out of the car and I hold her hand while she guided our way upstairs.

"Where did you find this place?" I surprisingly look around as I saw the cozy atmosphere with those dim, golden lights all around. The roof is only a a few inches above my head, and I had to bend my neck to prevent from getting hurt.

"You heard the name Google?" I hear Vaanya mock me while still dragging me inside through a small alley that passes by a few, cubic spaces where there were people sitting on the ground like those we see in Chinese or Japanese dramas. Or better say... In shinchan or Doraemon.

People sitting around a square table on all sides, enjoying their meal with some kind of shots, I don't know what they were because I don't drink.

And here we reach, the last cubic block which only the space for two tables and eight people. On our right, the table was already taken by a young couple like us, but they're probably not married like us.

Uncomfortable in the small, and congested environment, I unbutton my suit and cross my legs to sit down on the soft, cushion like white fibrous pillow underneath.

Vaanya sat opposite to me, and without looking anywhere, she took the menu to order the food, while I was still trying to breath in the matchbox.

But as I look outside, I could see how beautiful Varanasi is. My city. Kashi is the best at night. I can't get enough of my place, really.

"Do I have to go downstairs to bring our food?" I question as seeing the space here, I don't think there would be many workers here, and probably it'll be a self service station.

"C'mon Abhi. Don't be a stereotype after seeing the congested place. I know you like spacious rooms that's why your room is the biggest in your house, but please, they'll serve us. Look at the QR for menu for orders." She says with a duh tone, almost done with me.

Well, she's not wrong. I do not like narrow spaces to be in. I feel suffocated. But since she seems to be enjoying it more than anything, I think, I'm good. Nothing else matters if she's happy.

I look at her and my lips automatically curve into a smile, adoring her doing nothing. Just existing.

I never thought I'd be in so much love to be honest. And I wonder, would my younger self be surprised to see me this deeply fallen in love? Because surely when I was in teenage, I always believed that love wasn't for me. I was focused on my career and on becoming the best businessman in the world.

But her? She hits different.

And I must say, as much as I thought that this is a small place, it's actually quite fast in their service. Maybe, benefits of having a small work station? You reach anywhere faster, isn't it?

We had our dinner served within fifteen minutes. And damn that fragrance. I can't tell if it's been directly brought from my home, like my mother or Vaanya's cooked food.

It's almost similar to both of their style as soon as I take the first bite.

"How's it?" With curious eyes, Vaanya waits for my answer before having her meal.

"It tastes like your or mom's handmade food. It's so damn good, Vaanu. You really found a great place." I appreciate her with exuberant eyes.

She relieves a sigh as if it's her restaurant and she was waiting for my approval. I laugh at her child-like attitude and continue eating. The couple on my right left while we were in the middle of our meal, leaving the two of us alone for the rest of the time, where I asked Vaanya loads of truth and dare questions.

Specially, I didn't miss the spicy questions this time, and I'd be lying if I say I didn't enjoy seeing her being shy like that.

"Okay one last question," I whine.

"No, Abhi. I saw how your questions are like. No more hereafter." She scrunches her nose, focused on eating and avoiding looking at me.

"Pretty please~" I sing, keeping my spoon away to join my hands in front of her.

She glares at me this time. "Fine." Vaanya kept her spoon down on the plate with a thud that created a tingling noise. "This is the last one." She says with clear sternness, and I oblige with a fervent nod.

"Ask," she folds her arms and I excitedly but maintaining my calm, bend towards the table.

"Please tell me what do you want for your birthday because I already ruined it, Vaanu." I genuinely request, joining my hands in front of her guiltily with a smile to add kore fun to our conversation.

Vaanya laughed at my submissive behaviour. Why does she have such a pretty laugh? Argh, I like even the way she breathes. I'm way too cooked I guess.

I look up with my hands attached with my nose in front as I look at her smiling face. We both just stay in that moment of comfortable silence until Vaanya held my hands and brought them down on the table to hold them in hers.

She lovingly caressed my knuckles of either hands and I just sit there, looking at her.

"I just want one thing on this birthday," she says in a voice barely audible, but I managed to hear somehow. Curiously, I try to make eye contact but her eyes were stuck on my hands.

What does she want? Goddammit just say it, Vaanu!

I was growing just curious with time but no. My wife decided to take all my patience away tonight.

"Vaanu please say?" My breathing elevates and my leg under the table started fidgeting. She saw the desperation in my eyes and ended up stifling a chuckle.

Vaanya looks on my right, beyond the small door behind me to perhaps look for any audience, and then she keeps her elbows on the table, still holding my hands.

Her face closer to mine as her face is in the middle of our table with a playful smirk on her lips. I gulp. "I just want..." She says, her smirk widening and my breath hitching at her words.

What? Just say it already 'cause I'm starting to have unholy thought now, Vaanu ji.

I see her eyes sparkling out of the blue, but I was holding back so that my mind doesn't wander in those streets where I'd become an entirely different person.

Her smile widens, and so did my heartbeat.

"You!"
